Your work is stands out.
Your website DOEsn't.
Storify is a digital agency built for one industry. We help mid-market and enterprise architecture, engineering, and construction firms turn their websites into a real competitive advantage: in jobs, in recruiting, and in the market.
Position
One reason we're better at this than generalists.
Most agencies will take any client with a budget. Storify is focused on the AEC industry, working only with architects, engineers, and contractors. We made that choice because the industry deserves marketing partners who actually understand it, not generalists climbing a learning curve on your project.
We know what a GMP is and what a basis-of-design document does. We know the difference between hard-bid and negotiated work, between a production architect and a design-led studio. That fluency means we spend our time building your website, not learning your business.
Our Difference
WHY STORY MATTERS AT THE TOP OF THE AEC MARKET?
At your level, the basics are table stakes. Every firm in the running has the credentials, the portfolio, the bonding capacity or licensure, and the marquee projects. The qualifications package is in front of the committee before the interview ever starts. On paper, you all look alike, and that’s exactly the problem.
Selection committees and institutional clients aren’t choosing on capability. They’re choosing on fit. Who understands our program. Who we trust to run a $200M build for three years. Who our team will actually want to work with. Those decisions are made on instinct, and instinct is shaped by story.
A brochure-style website can’t do that work. It lists what you do without explaining who you are or why your approach is genuinely different. A story-driven website does, clearly enough that the same narrative that moves your BD team from RFQ to interview also pulls senior talent away from the firm across town.
Our Difference
WHO WE WORK WITH
Architecture:
Design-led studios, sector-focused practices, and large multi-disciplinary firms competing for institutional, commercial, healthcare, and education work — where shortlists hinge on portfolio, point of view, and the strength of the principals.
Engineering:
Structural, MEP, civil, and specialty engineering firms whose differentiation lives in technical judgment and project experience — and whose websites rarely communicate either at the level the work deserves.
Construction:
General contractors, construction managers, design-builders, and large specialty contractors pursuing negotiated and CM-at-Risk work, where shortlist decisions hinge on relationships and trust.
If your firm is doing $50M+ in annual revenue and your website looks like it was built by your nephew in 2017, we should talk.
Free Scorecard (No Email Required)
Score your website the way a selection committee will.
A 10-point scorecard for AEC marketing leaders evaluating whether their firm’s digital presence is supporting pursuits — or quietly costing them shortlist spots.
Five minutes. No email required. Most AEC firms come in lower than they expected.
The Process
DELIVERED THE WAY YOU DELIVER PROJECTS
Phase 1
Discovery & Programming
Stakeholder interviews across leadership, BD, and operations. An audit of your current digital presence. A clear read on the markets, sectors, and jobs you’re built to win. The deliverable is a strategy document, not a guess.
Phase 2
Design Development
Sitemap, narrative architecture, content strategy, and visual direction — reviewed and signed off before development begins. You see the building before we build it, with every decision documented so nothing gets lost between approval and launch.
Phase 3
Construction & Closeout
Build, QA, content migration, and launch. Internal review before the site goes live, the same way you’d walk a project before substantial completion — punch list and all.
Phase 4
Operations & Maintenance
Launch is the start of the relationship. We handle ongoing updates, performance monitoring, uptime, backups, security, and manage hosting — so the site keeps working long after the ribbon cutting.
